Wuing is a highly qualified and experienced mental health professional with a strong dedication to helping individuals overcome their challenges to achieve overall well-being. With nearly 10 years of clinical practice, Wuing has worked in diverse settings, including polyclinics, hospitals, and private practice, catering to a wide range of populations such as teenagers, working-class adults, couples, expats, start-up owners and others.

 

Throughout Wuing’s career, she has developed expertise in providing quality in-depth psychotherapy for clients to effectively address a wide range of presenting problems. From an individual’s emotional/mood challenges to complex traumas to interpersonal and relationship difficulties, Wuing is committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

 

Drawing from a rich array of therapeutic approaches, Wuing creates a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic approach, Virginia Satir’s Family System Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT, Level 2), Gottman Couple Therapy (Level 1) and Mindfulness-based intervention, which Wuing skillfully integrates to guide individuals towards personal insights and positive change.

 

On a personal level, choosing a career as a mental health professional was a natural calling for Wuing, driven by the innate desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Witnessing individuals embark on a journey of self-discovery and resilience fuels passion for her work. The ability to empower clients, instill hope, and witness their growth is a source of immense joy and fulfillment. She speaks fluently in Mandarin, English and Malay. 

 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Wuing possesses a deep passion for personal growth and introspection. She firmly believes in the power of self-reflection and self-awareness as catalysts for positive change. She loves to participate in book reading clubs. She enjoys music, visiting museums, watching interesting documentaries or dramas and reading during her leisure time.
